About Its On The Plus Side
It’s on the Plus Side was established due to the lack of size 14+ clothing being available in Australia. Most of what was available was “old lady”, unflattering and depressing styles.
Our founder, Cheryl Zuvelek, searched the world to find Fashion Forward collections that compliment female curves available in Sizes 14+ to bring smiles and confidence back to women of all ages who are plus size in Australia and New Zealand.
In 2008, Its On The Plus Side opened a shop front in Scarborough, a beach side suburb of Perth, Western Australia.
Currently, the store features 168 sq metres of fashion, carrying lines mostly imported from the USA. Knowing that there were women on the other side of the country and New Zealand that were in the same predicament of not being able to find fashionable clothes that fit, an online store was set up so that all plus size women could have a choice as to the clothes they could buy.
Now even women in remote areas can purchase from the fantastic ranges that plus size women in Perth experience and have come to love.
